  Quick Facts
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death and injury to young children.

  Safety Tips
If your vehicle has adequate head rests for whiplash protection, you may use a backless booster. If you don’t have head rests, look for a high-back booster with a tall back to grow with your child.

A booster should be used until a child is about 4’9” and 80 lbs., which usually happens around ages 8-9.

People of all ages must always wear their seat belts every time they ride in a vehicle. Set a good example yourself and wear your seat belt.
